South Pacific Fiji Yoga-Sailing-Adventure Retreat
With three weeks of sailing, community, connection and yoga, we will have all the time in the world to lose ourselves between the reefs, beaches, and starlit nights. The scenic harbor of Port of Suva in the island group of Fiji will be the start to our sail through the South Pacific islands. At the beginning of the journey we’ll get to know one another and plan the details with everyone’s personal preference in mind.
The sailing will consist of mostly easy day sails and a few laid-back overnighters mostly through pleasant sheltered waters. There are thousands of places to anchor and practice, yoga, meditation, may that be in the middle of the blue behind a gorgeous reef, or right next to a sandy cay with a few coconut palms all to ourselves, or in a bay at the foot of a lush green island.
We will visit villages to meet the people of Fiji. They love to sing and socialise and customarily do so gathered around the kava bowl. Fiji offers phenomenal diving, snorkeling, and surfing to explore with a multitude of marine wildlife to see, including humpback whales, dolphins, and vibrant coral reefs with all its colorful fish.
Weather dependent, we’ll have a chance to sail past the active volcanic region of the Ring of Fire to witness a newborn island. While you won’t want to coddle this dangerous baby (imagine snuggling a dragon’s lair–NOT recommended) you will definitely want to see this before the ocean wears it away!
You could spend a year on the islands and still wouldn’t have seen everything. To make the most of what Fiji has to offer, we recommend giving yourself plenty of extra time outside of the voyage or add days with Infinity for a longer stay. We will have a wonderful journey filled with a wealth of unforgettable experiences, but we will NOT have enough time to do everything suggested above! If your heart is set on some specific activity, be sure to tell us about it so we can do our best to create the opportunity.
The detailed day-to-day itinerary is completely optional and will largely depend on the weather, the below schedule is not set in stone but set in sand, so we are free to go with the flow.
- 6:45am - 7:30am ~ Sunrise Meditation with our captain Albert Zeman.
- 7:30am - 8:45am ~ Chakra Yoga Practice
- 9:00am - 10:00am ~ Community Family Breakfast
- 10am - 2pm ~ Playful Excursions
Departure Location: Neiafu, Vava’u, Tonga
Arrival Location: Nuku’alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga
Itinerary: Cross the entire Tonga island chain: Vava’u group, Ha’apai group, past the ‘Out Tolu group, and arrive on Nuku’alofa town on Tongatapu Island.
Distance under Sail: 240nm of easy island hopping day sails with a few starlit overnight trips.

Shayna Hiller, C.H.C, R.Y.T. is a world-renowned health educator, author, and yoga instructor based in Los Angeles. She offers cutting edge personal development programs for health and wellbeing. Shayna guides retreats worldwide, offers lectures and workshops across the country, group and private yoga classes, and individual and corporate health and wellness coaching. Her extensive knowledge of nutrition and yogic philosophy, as well as personal breakthrough from an eating disorder has led her to deeply inspire and educate her clients as to how to understand and trust what their bodies are telling them in order to make the proper choices to support total health and vitality. Shayna is a Health Coach through the Institute For Integrative Nutrition, the world’s largest nutrition school.
